Approx 1965.. VW SPLITSCREEN PROJECT '' FACTORY RHD'',
Here we have a FACTORY RHD South African import..the bus has obviously had a fire at some point in its life..we can supply all relevant panels for this project to make it into a proper window camper/kombi bus along with steering wheel..clocks etc etc..underside is in decent order as per photos..front clip looks great..roof and side panels will need work but there are plenty of companys these days supplying full side panels..we are currently filling a 40foot container in africa this will be one of the vehicles in the container..PLEASE TAKE NOTE IT IS A PROJECT AND SOLD AS IS.. .

Lived all its life in Oregon..with the bus been from Oregon it does provide a dry temperate climate All year round with out the extreme heat typical of some southern dry states that ravages paint and any plastic parts on a VW...the bus will be supplied fully repainted..along with wheels / bumpers / pop-top etc...New roof canvas will be fitted along with all door and window Rubbers / Seals..New flooring..New chrome hubcaps..All seating retrimmed..The bus is 100% RUST-FREE...She has a 1600 Dual Port type 1 motor fitted which provides a far easier engine to work on than the typical type 4..Service items are cheaper and far easier to obtain along with a much easier engine to maintain !..we actually swear by the type 1 engines above any other vw produced..All in all a great 5 berth family campervan which can obviously be repainted into the colour of your choice ( If your quick )..This bus has the massive bed in the roof..Rock n Roll bed downstairs..Front cab hammock...space is a plenty !!

Factory 12 volt electrics..runs and drives fine..ultra RARE freeway traveller sold by Gypsy campers in LA in the early sixties & seventies..1600 SP engine..New brakes.New tires..Everything is in good working order..bus has a newer westy interior which includes gas cooker/fridge and sink with water pump/Rock 'n' Roll bed..the entire top is aluminum and glass---really cool bus..scruffy paintwork but supplied 100% solid..12 mth's u.k./ mot on arrival with full pre delivery service..the bus is very very straight panelwise ( see photos ) so very easy to repaint..A rare opportunity to own one of these RARE buses which were only converted for the U.S.A. market and of course a excellent solid investment.....

1971.. VW CAMPERVAN ''HIGHTOP'' TAX EXEMPT..,
California import..accident free / No rust !!.. Original two tone paint ( pastel white / beige - a real cool retro colour combination )..Deluxe beltline trim along with Deluxe window trims and Chrome opening side windows..U.S. bumper over-riders..Front floors and cargo area are super solid..the bus does have a few scratches but what do you expect for a genuine paint bus from 1972..the high roof is white with the two side windows..A good respectable friend whom i deal with nearly every week bought this bus on behalf of me he says from the condition and the old couple he purschased the bus from it is ''Believed'' to be genuine mileage of just 31,000..my guy knows his stuff/VW's so i have no reason to question this ( mileage cannot be verified but i believe how the bus tells its own story )..the camping interior has been removed so its a blank canvas in the rear ready to fit your own interior the way you want it...all in all a excellent rust free bus...ABSOLUTE BARGAIN !!.
